Report of an overland expedition from Fort Laramie, Wyoming Territory to the Harney's Peak region of the Black Hills March 23 to April 19, 1875.

Written by the unidentified captain of the Company M, U.S. Cavalry, 2nd. Expedition was sent to arrest miners that had violated treaty with the Dakota and remove the miners from the area. The report gives a day by day account of journey to Harney's City in the Black Hills. Includes names of miners removed from the area.
